“Even in 2017,” they say, “the simple act of holding hands is still difficult for some people – let’s change that and #HoldTight anz.com/holdtight”

Each couple faces a moment – a dirty look on a bus, a glance at a restaurant — that makes them let go, until the last couple thinks about dropping each others’ hands but then tightens their grip and keeps walking.
“When you feel like letting go, #HoldTight,” the ad reads as the featured couples grab hands again.

Internet commenters, though, are quick to point out that two hands holding each other are two hands that can’t be used to block an attack. Be safe, and trust your gut when you feel a situation might not be safe.
