Beck Bennett‘s Vladimir Putin in the Oval office was the cold open and host Aziz Ansari did a great opening stand-up monologue on last night’s Saturday Night Live, but Kate McKinnon stole the show with her Kellyanne Conway in Bob Fosse Chicago-style musical number.
It begins with Conway doing her usual explain and defend schtick for CNN’s Jake Tapper (again, Beck Bennett) who says,
“Oh my god… how do you do this? Come on here every single day and do this? What do you get out of this?”
McKinnon’s Conway then daydreams her REAL answer – and it’s all about bright lights and being famous…
“…and when they Google just a K, my name will come up before Kanye…“
