Mob Wives star Angela “Big Ang” Raiola, who died on Thursday at age 55 after a battle with cancer, will be remembered at a funeral service on Monday at 9:30 AM at Basilica of Regina Pacis in Brooklyn. After the service, Raiola will be buried at Resurrection Cemetery in Staten Island. Four visitations are set for this weekend at the Scarpaci Funeral Home in Brooklyn, two yesterday and two today. According to TMZ, lines stretched around the block and Mob Wives stars Carla Facciolo, Drita D’Avanzo and Renee Graziano were in attendance as well as Ang’s estranged husband Neil Murphy, who was one of the first to arrive.
Raiola joined the cast of VH1’s Mob Wives in 2012 soon became a fan favorite. She was diagnosed with stage 4 brain and lung cancer last month. According to a statement on Raiola’s official Twitter account by family spokesman Vinnie Medugno, Raiola died at 3:01 a.m. Thursday
“surrounded by nothing but love from her immediate family, and closest friends.”
Raiola was the niece of the late Salvatore “Sally Dogs” Lombardi, a captain of the Genovese family.
