Dragstrip 66 was one of the most fabulous parties there ever were in Los Angeles. Any queen who was anybody made their way through the doors. From RuPaul’s Drag Race girls Willam, Sharon Needles, & Kelly Mantle to legendary legends Jackie Beat, Chi Chi LaRue, Joey Arias, Heklina, Miss Coco Peru, and the list goes on and on! Celebrities frequented the club, too. I remember when I was just a baby gay, Thairin Smothers (my fairy gay godmother) took me with David LaChapelle and Pamela Anderson. The queens went WILD!
