Mika just released his new song, Good Guys, about his apparent frustrations with guys, especially gay ones, from his fourth studio album No Place In Heaven. He sings;
“Where have all the gay guys gone?”
And in the chorus, Mika he quotes Oscar Wilde;
“If we are all in the gutter, it doesn’t change who we are/cause some of us in the gutter are looking up at the stars.”
In one verse, he credits some of the most inspirational gay figures of the 20th century, from W.H. Auden, James Dean, Jean Cocteau, Wilfred Owen… see which others you can pick out. It’s catchy too. Watch.
