We couldn’t be happier that the iconic Miss Coco Peru will be joining us at the first annual RuPaul’s DragCon in HERstory on May 16 & 17 at the Los Angeles Convention Center! Just in case you’ve been living under a rock for the past few years, we’ve compiled a list of Coco’s greatest hits after the jump!
#1. Trick (1998): Described by The New York Times as “a tenderhearted boy-meets-boy story that manages to incorporate the courtship-interruptus style of the Doris Day era into a Greenwich Village one-night stand.” Coco plays herself. Watch this hilarious scene in a nightclub bathroom with her and Christian Campbell (who plays Gabriel).
#2. Girls Will be Girls (starring Coco, Varla Jean Merman, and Jack Plotnik as Evie), 2003. Described as: “Three actresses at various places on the Hollywood food chain navigate the minefield of love, aging, and ambition.” Watch the opening scene, below.
#3. Here she is in that iconic scene from To Wong Foo: Thanks For Everything, Julie Newmar (1995).
#4. Here’s Coco’s Will & Grace cameo from the opening scene of this 2001 episode.
#5. And finally, the absolutely hysterical “Coco searches for Celestial Seasonings Tension Tamer Tea at K-Mart” (2013)
