You know media sensation and Wowlebrity Brendan Jordan, right? So does WOW. He was our special guest at Wow’s first annual holiday Drag Ball in December. (I shot this pic below of him with our James St. James. Cut from the same cloth, right?) Well now, Jordan is also a model for American Apparel. The new ad also includes the company’s reason for featuring him:
We were inspired by Brendan after seeing his fearless act of spontaneity and applaud his efforts with the LGBTQ community. His favorite styles of ours include the Clear PVC Circle Skirt and anything high-waisted.
Jordan has amassed a pretty big social media following for a 15 year-old, with nearly 50,000 You Tube followers, and Twitter topping 36,000. The ad will certainly add to this, including more info fans want to know…
Brendan is from Las Vegas. He’s half Peruvian (his dad was born and raised in Peru) and he learned Spanish from his extended family that helped care for him. He enjoys taking photos, shopping and collecting Disney memorabilia. In the future Brendan hopes to have his own TV show and design a clothing line. His biggest inspirations are his great grandmother Lucy and Lady Gaga.
