I’ve never been a fan of the Jonas Brothers. James St. James always blogged about them, so I figured we were covered here on the WOW Report for the Jonas Brothers beat. But last night I had the chance to go see the youngest Jonas, Nick, at The Satellite in Silverlake for the first show of his current tour. Read about it after the jump!
I decided I’d go because the tickets were free, it was a small venue, and Nick Jonas is fucking hot. The show was supposed to start at 8PM, but everyone was still waiting around for the show to start when we got there around 8:30. Around 9PM, whatever song was playing cut off midway through and Frank Sinatra’s “My Way” started blasting throughout the place. I’m still not 100% sure this was part of the show, but I’m assuming it was. Soon after that, Nick came on stage. He wore jeans, a green plaid shirt, and a sort-of cheesy fedora, but alas, I still would. After a couple of songs from his newest album, Nick did a cover of Gnarls Barkley’s “Crazy.” I’m sure there are still people that love the song, but I thought he could have picked something a little more relevant. Next must have been a couple of old Jo Bro’s songs, because all of the twenty-something girls in the audience sang along. Nick Jonas may not be my FAVORITE, but I’d totally take him over Justin Timberlake any day. He has a great voice and he’s just so damn cute!
