Gaga ‘grammed this picture with the adorable caption, “#bodyrevolution Proud at any size, because the inside is what really counts. Plus, it’s all how you pose! Just ask the supermodels!” and just as she hit that post button, the hateful onslaught was imminent. She responded with truthful tweets like “I’d rather be fat than shallow.” It just made me think about all of the hate that must be slung her way all day, every day. People see a megastar and think how great her life is, but really she has to deal with the same shit we all deal with only on a waaay huger platform. I am so proud of her defending and working on her body image, fighting it this way will help a whole lotta kids.
