“Back Rolls?”– Jeopardy Contestant Goes Viral With Alyssa Edwards Reference

Defending champion Doug Dodson was going to win Tuesday night’s Jeopardy, whether or not he answered the Final Jeopardy question correctly or not. He was that far ahead. When he didn’t know the answer he decided to go with one that he felt sure was going to elicit a big reaction.

“What is… back rolls?” he cheekily answered. It was wrong, of course, but fans of RuPaul’s Drag Race and Alyssa Edwards’ iconic season 5 moment clearly got the joke. Alec Trebek had no clue, though, and seemed skeptical when Dodson assured him it would go viral. But viral it has gone.
