Aaron Carter Now Says He’s NOT Actually Bisexual, the Whole Thing Was “Misconstrued”

In the never-ending rollercoaster ride of Aaron Carter‘s sexuality, he now tells Hollywood Life that last August’s big reveal about his bisexuality was completely misconstrued.

“Yeah, no. It was more so just a story that happened when I was like 17 with somebody, and I can find men and women attractive, but when it comes down to it, I think it was a little misconstrued. I see myself being with a woman and having kids. I want to have a family.”

I’d like to scream that nowadays Ls, Gs, Bs, Ts and Qs are all allowed to have families, and that kind of antiquated thinking needs an update, but I have a feeling it would fall on deaf ears.

Anyway, the story that happened to him at 17 was…

“…. an experience with a male that I had an attraction to who I also worked with and grew up with,”

In the Hollywood Life podcast interview, Aaron went on to elaborate on his wish to start a family with a woman, adding,

“I keep telling people that. I don’t want it to be misconstrued too much just because I was open about a story.”

Misconstrued? Because he followed up his bisexuality announcement with a gig at a gay club to promote his new single the following week? Or because he repeatedly teased the LGBTQ media that he was ready to date men, and even revealed to TMZ his celebrity male crushes? How could we possibly misconstrue any of those things?

But yes, Aaron, you’re sexuality is yours to decide and you owe us nothing. You do you, boo. And we’re here if you should ever want us.
